Description: The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, located within Lion's Park are a great example of sustainable resources. The garden is 100% solar heated, and 50% of the electricity is solar powered. The park also has a child area to help them understand the importance of conservation and alternate power sources.

The Guernsey campgrounds offer 7 different campground sites, with 5 on the lake shores. The site provided beach areas, boat ramps, drinking water, fishing, sports areas, and trails. There is also a visitors center on the grounds. These are primitive campsites only.

The campgrounds at Hawks Spring provide a beach area, boat ramp, fishing, picnic areas, playgrounds and restrooms. Please not that these campgrounds are not staffed 24/7, they are just patrolled by the park rangers, who will inspect for day use, overnight passes, and fishing licenses.
